Dementia-Inclusive Choices for Exercise (DICE)
Evidence-based resources to improve the number and quality of physical activity opportunities available to people living with dementia. These include a training module that prepares exercise providers (as well as recreational leaders and sport coaches) with knowledge and skills necessary to engage with, accommodate the needs of, and guide physical activity among people with dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI).

GAP (Global Action on Personhood) in Dementia

GAP is an informal international network of expert practitioners, researchers, educators, people living with dementia and family care-givers who have in-depth understanding of person-centred approaches to care world-wide. The aim of GAP is to promote the fact that personhood matters in dementia and that unless action is taken then the psychological, emotional and social needs of people living with dementia are unmet.

Green House Project
A project that supports the development and implementation of small, intentional ("purpose-built") "Green House communities for a group of elders and staff. A Green House residence is designed to be a home for six to ten elders needing skilled nursing or assisted living care. The purpose is to avoid institutionalising long-term care and be a place where elders can receive assistance and support with activities of daily living and clinical care, without the assistance and care becoming the focus of their existence.

It Takes A Community
Set at Arcare Helensvale, in Queensland, Australia is one of a series of short films created by Cathy Greenblat and directed by Corinne Maunder that presents a fresh perspective on aged care. This moving film looks at Arcare Helensvale's unique relationship-centred approach to celebrating and supporting old age.

An innovative program that adopts a partnership approach and integrates research and educational activities in an effort to improve dementia care practices in Canada and around the world. 

Promoting Excellence Alternative in Kansas (PEAK)
PEAK promotes more social, non-traditional models of long-term care. Their set of educational modules assist organizations in implementing progressive, innovative approaches to care that should make a significant difference in the quality of care and the quality of life for those living and working in long-term care environments.

Pioneer Network
Pioneer Network is a center for all stakeholders in the field of aging and long term care whose focus is on providing home and community for elders. The Pioneer Network believes that the quality of life and living for America's elders is rooted in a supportive community and cemented by relationships that respect each of us as individuals regardless of age, medical condition or limitations.
