Volunteer Opportunity at The Canadian Sanctuary Network

The Canadian Sanctuary Network is seeking a volunteer to help us build our social media presence.
The Sanctuary Network is a group of about 10 individuals who work towards the fair treatment of refugees and support refused refugee claimants in Canada who face risk if returned. We are in the process of overhauling our website and have recently launched a Facebook page and Twitter account.
Your role would be to support our social media presence through re-tweeting, sharing relevant news items, and occasionally posting original content based on our current work (roughly 2 hours/week). We ask for a commitment of at least one year to the position.
If you are interested, please send a short (no more than 1 page) letter of introduction (eg your interest in refugee protection in Canada and your experience with social media) to kathryn.dennler@gmail.com by October 29th, 2020.
