On Tuesday, March 15, 2016 Dr.
Marlene Epp, Interim Dean and Professor of History and Peace and Conflict Studies will participate in a panel discussion on “Understanding the Refugee Crisis: Historical, Global, and Local Perspectives.” The event is hosted by the Faculty of Arts, UWaterloo Community Relations, and Kitchener Public Library and will feature Marlene Epp and two other experts in this field. The discussion will talk about Canada’s history of refugee reception, refugees currently in limbo abroad, as well as local settlement challenges and opportunities.
