Researchers at the Institute for Quantum Computing have fabricated a device that manipulates neutrons, giving them a well defined orbital angular momentum. Dr. Dusan Serenac, Research associate at IQC and technical lead with Transformative Quantum Technologies published this groundbreaking scientific achievement in the journal Science. Work for this paper involved fabrication of nanometre scale fork-like gratings in Silicon, which was accomplished at the Quantum-Nano Fabrication and Characterization Facility.
