Diving into the details of vacuum technology
On September 27th, the Quantum-Nano Fabrication and Characterization Facility (QNFCF) and Pfeiffer Vacuum hosted a vacuum technology seminar led by Siavash Asadollahi, Market Manager - Pfeiffer Vacuum (Scientific and Semiconductor Markets).
This full day seminar saw over 25 attendees participate in this all-day event. Participants included students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and staff. During the event, Siavash covered topics ranging from basics like vacuum theory and practical vacuum generation to more advanced topics such as material and component selection and leak detection techniques. This small event enabled attendees with a variety of levels of experience in vacuum technology to engage with experts from Pfeiffer Vacuum and discuss practical solutions to their vacuum issues.
