Lab Technologist, Research Advanced Centre RAC1 and RAC2
As the Research Advanced Centre RAC1 Lab Technologist, Taso is responsible for all equipment in the satellite cleanroom located in the RAC1 building.
His responsibilities include:
- Installation and optimization
- Preventative maintenance and repairs
- Operator training
- Administrative control point as site lead
Taso graduated from the Mechanical Engineering - Robotics and Automation program at Conestoga college. He has worked 8 years as an Environmental Systems Technologist at COMDEV, servicing space simulation systems, vibration test equipment and various thermal cycling systems. Taso has also worked as a Process Engineering Specialist at Aisin Canada overseeing two major assembly lines.
