Get to know your candidates by coming out to campaign events within the next two weeks before voting period.

January 30: Debate - The Debate will provide the candidates an opportunity to debate and showcase their platform to students. It will take place in the STC atrium and will have fielded questions from students, and generic questions prepared by the Board of Directors.

February 5: Town Hall Meeting/General Meeting - The Candidates’ Town Hall Meeting will be the opportunity for students to directly mingle and interact with the candidates. This gives the candidates a more informal setting to highlight their platform and goals for the faculty student government.

The General Meeting will have student Q&A with all current Executives and Officers of the Board to field questions from the audience about initiatives and actions of the board and items going forward. It will also include any student motions submitted in advance which are added to the agenda by Board. Students will have the opportunity to vote and, approve or change the strategic direction of the Society and our work with the Faculty of Science and Federation of Students.

February 5-7: Voting period - The voting period begins on February 5th at www.vote.feds.ca. Voting ends on the 7th.

So make sure to vote, to have a say, in who will represent you for the year of 2018-2019.
