A Pride month conversation about the lived experiences of bisexual people, bi-erasure, biphobia, and gender-based violence.
About this event
This is a Pride Month workshop hosted collaboratively by the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region and the University of Waterloo Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office.
Bisexual people face unique lived experiences. Their reality is different from that of straight folks, and also doesn't always match the experiences of people in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. For instance, we know that bi people are more likely to experience sexual violence. Why is that? Join us for a conversation by bisexual people about the realities of bi-erasure, biphobia, and gender-based violence.
This is a virtual workshop. Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting link.
