Graduate Symposium

Presented by the students of Sociology and Legal Studies

We are excited to announce that the first-ever Graduate Symposium in the area of Sociology and Legal Studies is happening on November 13th this Fall term!

What is the Graduate Symposium?

The Graduate Symposium is a forum for current graduate students to showcase their ongoing research. Masters and PhDs in Sociology & Legal studies will be presenting their work, taking questions from the audience, and seeking like-minded researchers from across the University of Waterloo who are as passionate about their research as we are. It is a great opportunity to connect with researchers in your field, get a sense of what Grad school is like, and be a part of a broader intellectual community at the University of Waterloo that bridges undergraduates, graduates, professors, and broader community members alike.
