The September 2025 meeting welcomes Pamela Braza Pitman, senior manager of outreach in the Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism, discussing services and supports available to staff members.

In the November meeting, reps will discuss parking and other transportation matters with guests from Sustainable Transportation, and will get their first report from new UWSA president Alyssa Kuron. Talk to your rep about bringing your questions and comments!

In the December meeting, reps will discuss accommodations, leaves, and more with guests from Employee Health and Accommodations.

In the January 2026 meeting, reps will hear an update from UWSA President Alyssa Kuron, get a refresher on the Area Reps role and resources available, and have a discussion about the role and structure of Area Reps.

The UWSA Area Representatives Council is a space to exchange information about current issues facing staff at UW and to keep an open line of communication between the UWSA leadership and staff members across the University. Most meetings are open to Area Reps, with one meeting each term open to all staff.
