Calling all makers, creators, and small business owners!
The 2025 Winterfest Artisan Market (formerly the UWSA Craft Show & Sale) is back and we're looking for talented vendors of all kinds to join. The market will be held on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 in the Student Life Centre. This is a great opportunity to connect with the UW community, celebrate creativity, and support UWSA student awards.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-selected basis, with priority given to UWSA members. Should there be remaining vendor tables, the UWSA will select the applications of students, alumni, retirees, and non-UWSA staff members.
Important details:
- The Market is a fundraiser with proceeds benefiting UWSA student awards. Vendors must commit to donate 10% of their total market proceeds, with a minimum donation of $20 required. While you're welcome to donate more, $100 is the suggested maximum. Donations will be collected on the last day of the market.
- Booths must be staffed from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on November 27, and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on November 28, but you can be creative about how you fit that into your workday. Staff vendors often team up with friends to cover in shifts, call in family members, bring their laptop and do work when it's slow, flex their hours, or take vacation time.
Applications close at 11:59 p.m. on October 29. Successful applicants will be notified by Wednesday, November 5.
