Staff Life Cycle: Project Update

The Staff Life Cycle project is nearing the end of stage 1 and preparing for stage 2.

The project coordinators are pleased to have received a large amount of feedback from 19 units on campus. Topics raised are those of recruitment, development, career progress and retention at Waterloo. Suggestions received that are relevant to most staff across campus will potentially identify specific initiatives that would make Waterloo an exemplary employer, a goal outlined in the new Strategic Plan.

The information gathered and summarized from stage 1 will be shared generally with staff in all academic and academic support units so that all staff on campus have the opportunity to make suggestions as part of stage 2. The goal is to have this ready to distribute as close as possible to mid-May.
