Reason for runningI am looking forward to offering my talents, expertise, and experience in serving as a director on the UWSA board. As a strategic thinker, I am a firm believer in thinking long term while maintaining a focus on the vision of the board in guiding the high-level strategic governance of the UWSA and providing advice and direction to the Operations Team. I believe that honesty is not only the best policy, but actually the only policy and so I am committed to doing my best and acting with integrity. My lived experiences as a racialized Caribbean male helps me to have a greater understanding of the various challenges that racialized staff may encounter and will be instrumental in providing advocacy as needed.
