About Sara: I was elected to the Board in Fall 2022. My current role at the University is Communications and membership services officer for the Faculty Association. Since starting at the University in 2007, I have worked in many academic support units at Waterloo, on main, north and Cambridge campuses, and represented the Staff Association on multiple University Committees. Outside of these roles, I like to walk, dance, eat, and garden.

Reason for running: I have always been a vocal advocate for safer and healthier work conditions, physically and psychologically. I want to make the University a better place for ALL workers, and represent the needs of neurodivergent staff.

Vision for the UWSA: An active and visible force of constructive change at the University, with members who are informed, engaged, and feel a sense of belonging within the Association.
