Using the tools available in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Quest is in a constant state of improvement to improve the experience for students, faculty and staff.

In Spring of 2018, an update in the Daily Bulletin included details of major technical renewal and projects completed in the preceding two-year time period including: 

  • A complete re-implementation of how OUAC student applications are received in Quest.
  • The launch of the University’s new financial reporting system Unit4.
  • The de-customization of the Student Centre.
  • Improvements to OSAP processes in support of a provincial government initiative.

The technical upgrades included upgrading the hardware, operating system, database, and application to the most current technologies, and it now also complies with disaster recovery and uptime needs, capable of an easy fail-over, if needed.
