Friday, August 23, 2024 — 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EDT

Join us in our new Community Leadership Certificate program, replacing the old Student Leadership Program.

This program is an opportunity for students to explore the intersections of anti-oppression and leadership while developing skills and tools to support them in their time on campus as well as into their transition to career.

Prior to attending the workshop, please join the CLC program's LEARN course by navigating to the LEARN Self-Registration page and selecting "Community Leadership Certificate." The LEARN course contains resources and exercises you will be asked to review before the workshop date.

Students are asked to complete the workshop in sequential order as follows:

2. Leading with Curiosity

3. Collaborative Team Building

4. Harm Reductive Communication and Conflict Resolution

Learning Outcomes for CTB:

1. Build an understanding of anti-oppression from a strengths-based framework.

2. Describe the concept of tokenization and how it can impact authentic collaboration.

3. Discover how to action anti-oppressive collaboration in your leadership practice.
