About the facilitator:
Tyler (they/them) is a PhD candidate in Geography and Environmental Management with interests in Arctic Climate Science, snow and permafrost! They are passionate about making climate science and statistics more accessible and understandable to a non-specialist audience, and enjoy science outreach work. Outside of the PhD, they work as a cofacilitator at Spectrum where they help run a peer support and discussion group for folks in the Ace and Aro communities. In addition, Tyler has recently started a podcast series where they explore the lived experiences of Asexuality and Aromanticism through a lens of intersectionality.
