Join us in our new Community Leadership Certificate (CLC) program, replacing the old Student Leadership Program.

This program is an opportunity for students to explore the intersections of anti-oppression and leadership while developing skills and tools to support them in their time on campus as well as into their transition to career.

Prior to attending the workshop, please join the CLC program's LEARN course by navigating to the LEARN Self-Registration page and selecting "Community Leadership Certificate." The LEARN course contains resources and exercises you will be asked to review before the workshop date.

Students are asked to complete the workshop in sequential order as follows:

  1. Foundations of Collaborative Leadership

  2. Leading with Curiosity

  3. Collaborative Team Building

  4. Harm Reductive Communication and Conflict Resolution

Learning Outcomes for Foundations of Collaborative Leadership (FCL):

1. Recognize at least one perspective and approach to leadership that's different from your own.

2. Describe qualities of a community-focused leader relating to role expectations, communication skills, campus resources, and making referrals.

3. Begin unlearning social hierarchies that hold individuals back from genuine connection and investigate what reciprocal learning might look like in your specific role.
