SDSN Canada is currently looking for a young leader with experience in project management, community mobilization and/or stakeholder engagement, to lead and coordinate all its SDSN Youth activities in the Waterloo Region and throughout Canada.

In collaboration with SDSN Youth, we are pleased to welcome four new SDG Coordinators into SDSN Canada!

The SDG Coordinators help students on SDSN member campuses learn about and take action on the SDGs, as well as work with university and college leadership and faculty to promote the integration of the SDGs into campus activities. The Coordinators also work to organize ‘solutions labs’ where the community can come together to discuss Canada’s performance on the SDGs and generate ideas for accelerating local and national progress.

SDSN Canada is developing a ‘Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index for Canadian Municipalities’ to benchmark municipal progress on the SDGs. The Index will be a valuable tool for municipal governments to align their visions of sustainability with the global SDG framework and explore how municipal leaders can set a framework for action to address the many sustainable development challenges affecting their communities.
