Katey Park is a postdoctoral researcher leading a Principles-Focused Evaluation of the Investment-Readiness Program. Throughout this project, she is working collaboratively to develop meaningful principles for the Canadian social finance ecosystem and assess the extent to which social innovators align with these principles.
Katey received her graduate training from Toronto Metropolitan University from the Department of Psychology in social psychology. She has two interrelated research interests: (1) assessing programs or interventions in community-based settings to improve program performance, accountability and decision-making, and; (2) explore the relationships between body image, physical activity and eating behaviour, with an emphasis on understanding the unique experiences of women.
Ms. Park’s interdisciplinary approach combines knowledge and scientific methods from psychology, evaluation, gender studies, and social innovation.
