Zahra Valika holds an MSc in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where her dissertation research examined innovation training programmes within medium and large corporations in the United Kingdom. She is interested in gender equity and social impact, particularly in how technology can be leveraged to improve access for underserved communities in more participatory and inclusive ways. She has also contributed to LSE Blogs on international development and gender equality.
Her fieldwork spans across continents from Pakistan to Kenya, where she has worked on initiatives in women’s health, education and financial inclusion. These experiences have shaped her interest in bridging the gap between community-level realities and the systems and policies designed to address them.
