This week's Web Dev Rev, guest-hosted by WCMS developer Tyler Struyk, started with some Drupal-related notes:
- submission deadline for session to Drupal North is May 29th
- the Royal Family is using Drupal
- Adobe buys Magneto - thoughts from Dries
- Dries blogs about the next Drupal API-first movements and administration interface improvements
Then we had a "general" web development note:
Next up, we watched the "BEM syntax" and "SASS" portions of a video from DrupalCon Los Angeles 2015 from the session Front-End Efficiency with BEM Syntax and Atomic Design.
We finished by watching How Memory Works in PHP and its Hidden Costs from DrupalCon Nashville.
Next Friday continues our spring series of Web Dev Rev sessions run by the WCMS developers. Our host next week will be Lily Yan. We hope you'll join us on Friday, June 1st, in EC2 1021 (Millennium) at 11:00am.
