This week's Web Dev Rev notes started with Drupal:
- who sponsors Drupal development? (with the University of Waterloo mentioned as a top end user contributor)
- creating issue forks and merge requests
- live development previews for Drupal Core
- biggest mistakes while building the Webform module
- on building a Paragraph-like system using Layout Builder
- finding and killing anonymous sessions in Drupal
- Drupal's query builder, circa 2006
- Drupal 9 release celebration sing-along
Finally, we had just a couple of the more general web notes:
- CKEditor 4.15.1 with a securty patch released
- keyboard-only web browsing
- taking advantage of ARIA attributes in CSS
- bidirectional scrolling - what's not to like?
- Docker fails to launch on Apple Silicon
- your computer isn't yours
At the end of the meeting, we recommended people watch the video, "Checking under the hood: Auditing your website for a smooth ride" from Drupal Chicago.
Web Dev Rev will be back next week, on Friday, November 20th at 11:00am.
