All WCMS 3 sites will soon be upgraded to WCMS 3.2.33.
These release notes are subject to change without notice.
Release notes
Features/functionality
- made it possible to remove individual dates from events by clicking a single button
- updated the redirects functionality to support redirecting from existing content
- in preparation for functionality from the WCMS 2 publication theme, made it possible to create publications and their issues, and identify news items as belonging to a specific publication's issue; currently controlled by general news permissions (more granular permissions coming); has limited practical effect at this time (note that other publication functionality may be visible in some places, but is not intended to be used at this point)
Fixes/updates
- ensured long titles for content referenced in the manual list block do not cause a validation issue
- ensured expand/collapse all text is properly translated for French and Chinese sites
- made projects require a name for project members if any other member information is entered
- updated the Editoria11y accessibility checking tool
- prevented an administrative tool for fixing broken blocks from potentially changing the path of the content with broken blocks
Theming changes
- ensured infographics in facts and figures display in all browsers, regardless of whether or not a carousel is being used
- ensured links blocks with backgrounds have padding to prevent text from coming too close to the edge of the background
- ensured that expand/collapse content using narrower sections than the column containing the block is constrained to the width of the narrower section (excepting extra-wide width sections inside a block placed in a full width section, which is expected to be fixed in a later release)
- ensured that expand/collapse content using full-width sections properly contains content that normally extends to the edge of the page in a full-width section of regular content (except for some remaining issues when a sidebar is present, which is expected to be fixed in a later release)
- improved appearance of OFIS-based profiles
