All WCMS 3 sites will soon be upgraded to WCMS 3.2.37.
These release notes are subject to change without notice.
Release notes
Features/functionality
- added location information to event iCal files
- added "navigation", "callout" and "related" styles (resembling the WCMS 2 publication options of "sub-navigation", "nested" and "related", respectively) to news item listing blocks
- added a confirmation dialog before leaving content type and taxonomy edit forms without saving changes (after "exiting" at least one field)
- added a field for optional revision log entry when saving from the layout tab
Fixes/updates
- ensured autocomplete fields in listing blocks work correctly when the matched item has a longer length title
- fixed some areas where exceeding the maximum length for taxonomy entry was not getting flagged as a validation issue
- fixed an issue which had been preventing some webform email handler messages from sending, by removing email addresses before sending from CC and BCC fields that were already included in "to" and "to"/CC fields, respectively
- made the listing type names in the multi-type listing block consistent with the actual content type names
- fixed an issue where pages would not load if the page contained a remote video block referencing a media item that had been deleted
- disabled legacy webform datepicker options on sites where it was inadvertently enabled
- ensured references to the section library use consistent naming patterns across the WCMS
- added a full paginator to the files view
- stopped clearing the list of items in a manual list block when the content type is changed, so that they are still there if you switch it back before saving (which continues to remove items from unselected content types)
- fixed several errors where certain character strings could cause unexpected behaviour
- removed warning step when creating redirects from URLs that are currently in use
Theming changes
- added visually hidden headers to the site and global footers, to provide context for screen readers that these sections are not part of the primary content
- added an underline to indicate when timeline items are links, for accessibility
- made links in captions always appear in black, regardless of the site colour scheme, to ensure accessibility across all backgrounds
- improved the appearance of the section library in the layout builder sidebar
