All WCMS "FDSU", single page, conference and publication sites are being upgraded to WCMS 2.9.0.
This upgrade is scheduled to be deployed to pilot sites overnight on Wednesday, September 23, and to production sites starting on Monday, September 28.
This is intended to be the final feature release for WCMS 2, with any future releases being maintenance-only (patches, security).
These release notes are subject to change without notice.

- added additional options to display carousels when using Image gallery
- added support for arguments, such as anchors, on internal links within the WYSIWYG editor

- updated Tableau embeds to use new URL pattern for public Tableaus (shipped as a hotfix to 2.8.1)
- fixed invalid breadcrumbs when Catalog names contained selected words or characters (shipped as a hotfix to 2.8.1)
- limited Catalog names to the characters A-Z, 0-9, and space to ensure all tabs can function correctly; site maintainers should update any existing Catalog names with any other characters (shipped as a hotfix to 2.8.1)
- fixed an issue where users going backwards on a web form and then going forwards with different choices could result in missing information in automated emails when the "exclude empty components" option was selected
- improved accessibility in the Service content type
- adjusted web form results downloads to use the submission date to determine if the submission is considered new
- fixed an issue where table headers might not appear at narrower page widths
- fixed an issue with site managers being able to expire roles they did not have access to assign
- fixed an issue which prevented filtering of events by type where the term ID of the type was higher than 999
- removed TeamDynamix support
- removed SourceAPI information from exports of data from webforms
- added support for underscores in YouTube channel names in the site footer
- numerous contrib module updates

- fixed text wrapping in expandable section headers (shipped as a hotfix to 2.8.1)
- adjusted appearance of linked text in expandable titles to make sure they are readable (shipped as a hotfix to 2.8.1)
