Construction Update B2 - Science

B2 - Science / Bondfield Construction

The construction fencing in front of B2 will be extended to the sidewalk; this will become the main entrance for trucks into the site.

Signs will be posted requesting pedestrians to use the walkway on the west side of the ring road, a flag man will be at the entrance whenever a truck in entering or leaving.

Most likely the sidewalk will be in disrepair so please remember to use the walkway on the west side of ring road.

On May 31st, Connexions Day will take place at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.  It is an all-day event for Ontario university and college students with disabilities who are interested in pursuing policy development and planning careers within the Ontario Public Service or the broader public sector.

Toronto Rehab is accepting applications for its Scholarship in Rehabilitation-related Research for Graduate Students with Disabilities.

Masters and Ph.D. students with disabilities planning to attend McMaster, Ryerson, U of T, UOIT, Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier, or York may apply.

Applications and supporting documentation are due May 1, 2013.

The Needles Hall first floor south door facing the Modern Languages building will be out of commission on Tuesday, March 26th as a new door is being installed.

During construction, students and visitors to Needles Hall should use the alternate accessible entrance through the parking garage under the building.  An elevator is situated through the door on the right for access to the upper floors. 

Construction fencing will be erected starting Monday, March 25th on the S/W side of Biology 1 & 2. The exterior doors leading from B2, corridor 120 will be closed to all pedestrian & vehicle traffic, as well as the loading docks at B1 & 2.

The following entrances are accessible:

  • Door facing Ring Road
  • Door facing Math & Computer
  • Door facing Earth Sciences & Chemistry 1

Stay tuned for the new Student Access Van drop-off location as it will move due to the construction.

If you want exam accommodations for your final exams, please hand in your Alternative Exam Accommodation Forms signed by your professors by Thursday, November 15th
