Are you wondering what the UWaterloo Alumni Council is? We are a group of alumni, just like you, that represent UWaterloo’s global alumni network and provide an alumni perspective to enrich the University and work to enhance alumni engagement.
We are a small, but mighty, group of 16 alumni volunteers. We represent all faculties and colleges. And we are always looking for alumni to join our team. Are you interested? Read more or contact us for additional information if you’re University that made a difference in your life.
In the past 12 months, the UWaterloo Alumni Council has been working hard supporting many initiatives as we look to the future of UWaterloo. We are also very happy to lend our support celebrating and thanking all those donors that support the University and those that volunteer with the University within the faculties and colleges, alumni chapters and as global ambassadors around the world.
With fall on our doorstep, there are many opportunities to connect with UWaterloo alumni. First, we have the return of Homecoming on Saturday, September 21. After a slight hiatus, Homecoming is back. It’s a great opportunity to connect with old friends, make new ones and create more UWaterloo memories.
In October, we will welcome new graduates during Fall Convocation on October 25 and 26. We look forward to growing our UWaterloo alumni community. The Alumni Council welcomes you and we celebrate your achievements.
As new members of the UWaterloo alumni community you’re able to experience and appreciate all the amazing events, like Homecoming, and enjoy the perks that are available to us as alumni.
At these fall events, our UWaterloo Alumni Council will be represented. We are all thrilled to speak to alumni about the work we do on Alumni Council and how you might be able to help. We look forward to meeting you.
