Gateway Grad program

B.C. Association of Optometrists

Linda Kirsch (OD '90, Optometry) elected vice president, and Meghan Ashton (OD '06, Optometry) elected a director, of the B.C. Association of Optometrists.

Janis Swan (PhD '77, Chemical Engineering), Associate Dean of Engineering at the University of Waikato, and first female engineer in New Zealand to hold the position of Associate Dean or Dean of Engineering, was awarded the prestigious JC Andrew medal at the annual New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology conference in June 2010.
