Top 10 research studies of 2010

A publication co-authored by Nicole Bradley (BSc '06, Health Studies) has been selected by the Canadian Cancer Society as one of its top 10 research studies of 2010. Childhood cancer survivors have higher odds of hospitalization appeared in the European Journal of Cancer, September 2010.

Cathy Stevulak (BA '77) is producing a documentary film about a Bangladeshi artist who helped empower hundreds of destitute women by guiding them in the production of magnificent tapestries. Threads: The Art and Life of Surayia Rahman is due to be released later in 2011.

Name This

Enter a contest to name a unique "knee hockey" game being marketed by Linda Stortz (BA '84; BA '03). The game will be featured this fall on History Channel's new show, Name This.

Author Carol Bennett McCuaig (BA '88; BA '03), writing as Catriona McCuaig, has published her 50th book, entitled Encountering the Wild. The book will be available in March 2011.
