Dr. Alexis Dolphin wins CFI-JELF grant

Congratulations to Dr. Alexis Dolphin for receiving a Canadian Foundation for Innovation – John R. Evans Leaders Fund grant ($233,000) in support of her work founding the “Ancient and Contemporary Environmental Bioindicators Laboratory (ACEBioLab)” in the Department of Anthropology. 

This infrastructure grant will support research on human-environment interactions utilizing cutting edge technology for conducting microspatial analyses of human tissues from past and living populations.  ACEBioLab will provide new resources for research in the Department of Anthropology, new sites for collaboration, and significantly enhance student experiential learning.
