MA student Awarded PhD Position at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology

Congratulations to Aparajita Bhattacharya (MA in Public Issues Anthropology, 2024) for securing a PhD position in the Computational Pathogenomics Laboratory at the Max Planck Institute. Her Masters thesis, entitled "Doing DNA differently: A bioarchaeological secondary exploration of Brucella in ancient metagenomes in the NCBI SRA," represents the best of interdiciplinary research with Anthropology at the helm, and we wish her nothing but further success.
