Background
Andrew Lyons received his D. Phil. in Anthropology from St. Catherine's College, Oxford University in 1974 and is Professor Emeritus of Anthropology, Wilfrid Laurier University. He retired in 2009. Dr. Lyons is currently an Adjunct Professor in our department. He became Editor-in-Chief, Anthropologica, Journal of the Canadian Anthropological Society in 2008 and has been the Co-convenor of the History of Anthropology Interest Group and a representative of the Group on the Board of General Anthropology Division for the American Anthropological Association since 2006.
