Thank you for your interest in visiting the University of Waterloo School of Architecture!
We appreciate your support in reviewing the following information and guidelines to support the safe delivery of tours for our guests and campus community.
Your campus tour will include an overview of our campus including portfolio review, co-op information, student services, student life, and more!
Tour Dates:
Time: 12:30-1:30pm
You must limit your group to a maximum of three people so we can safely accommodate as many visitors as possible.
Please note that there is a maximum of fifteen individuals per tour, if the spots are filled, the tour date will not be an option when you navigate to the tour booking webpage, see below.
Once you book your tour, you will receive a second email that includes information about directions, parking and more.
In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, tours may be cancelled; we will notify you of any changes to your booking.
To ensure your safety and that of your fellow guests and our campus community, masks must be worn at all times. This includes when you arrive, check in, and tour campus. Each guest should bring a mask for their personal use.

From Hwy 401
International Travel
The closest major airport is Toronto Pearson International Airport airport approximately 75 Kilomerters (46 miles) east of Cambridge.
The easiest way to reach the School of Architecture from the Pearson International Airport is to hire an airport limo or airporter service such as Airways Transit.
Travel Inside Canada
There are direct flights from Edmonton, Halifax and Newfoundland to John C. Munro International Airport in Hamilton approximately 48 Kilometers east of Cambridge.
There are also direct flights from Calgary, Oattawa to the Region of Waterloo International Airport.
Taxi service from either of these airports can be arranged through Golden Triangle Taxi
Visitor parking
Free parking is available in a large lot at the end of Melville Street South and River Street.
