galt publication Issue 6: Noise launch party

We are excited to invite you to join us in celebrating the galt. publication Issue 06 launch on Thursday, October 30th in Galt, Ontario.  

The launch will be hosted at the BRIDGE space in the Gaslight District on October 30th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will be light refreshments and snacks provided. 

Copies of Issue 06: Noise will be available for purchase and pick-up at the event.

Issue 06: Noise is complex. Sometimes wanted, sometimes unwanted, it adds variety to our environment. Taken literally as sound, visually, or abstractly as the commotion of people, it materializes in all as an array of frequencies, tones, and volumes. It can be dynamic, textured, and add depth. Noise can be absent, and we may not notice when it is not there at all.

Issue 06: Noise is about sound, but it is also about quiet. It is as much about music and concerts as it is about the cluttered thoughts in one’s head or the understatement of a pencil. The contributors of Issue 06 responded to this theme with a variety of interpretations—some complementary and some conflicting.

This book takes its theme as its philosophy. At first glance, pieces are strewn through the book in a chaotic manner. Reading closely, each compliments the next, crafting an array of works the reader may flit through, pondering the loud and soft of their own world.
