Nuit Blanche Toronto

Saturday, September 29, 2018 7:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Toronto’s free all-night contemporary art event invites adventurous residents and visitors to take to the streets from sunset to sunrise. Experience Toronto transformed by hundreds of Canadian and international artists. One night only, all night long.

Nuit Blanche 2018 will focus on Toronto as a city of change and progress. Join the artists and curators while they unfold, reinterpret, disrupt, question, listen and view Toronto through new eyes and our places within it.

Waterloo Architecture Associate Professor Lola Sheppard and recent Waterloo Architecture graduate Sugandh Gupta are involved in Nuit Blanche projects this year.

In Sight -Lateral Office - Toronto, Canada
In Sight explores Torontonians’ connections to place with a large-scale interactive sculpture by Lateral Office that will play with perception.

Passage -smjilk - Mississauga, Canada
Passage pivots around this point: the city is not an object to be observed, but a changing entity to be shaped by its people. smjilk is an innovation design collective of six multidisciplinary artists whose expertise spans architecture, interiors and spatial design.
