Re:POST is an annual symposium at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture that explores opportunities regarding post-thesis development beyond the date of defence. In past symposia, the themes of exhibition and publication have been examined. The next Re:POST, slated for the afternoon of Tuesday, March 17, 2015, will focus on the translation of thesis to practice. How can academic design and research disseminate into ongoing professional explorations? The format of Re:POST will consist of two parts: a presentation/discussion portion followed by an informal workshop session with groups of current students who aspire to take their thesis to practice.
