Iris van Herpen. Sculpting the Senses, on view from November 29, 2023, to April 28, 2024 at the Musée des Arts décoratifs, Paris pays tribute to one of the most forward-thinking fashion designers.

Azure magainze went behind the scenes with University of Waterloo School of Architecture Professor Philip Beesley, a frequent collaborator with van Herpen, sharing a look into the process of assembling, installing, and exhibiting the works he contributed to the exhibition. These works cover a wide range of types and scales, from dresses, bespoke mannequins, experimental fabric and textile samples, and glass sculptures.

The exhibition has already received accolades from, Vogue, Elle, The Fashion Network, Designboom, W Magazine, and Vogue France.
