Harry MX Wei
Biography
Harry received his MArch from Princeton University and his BAS from the University of Waterloo. From 2014 to 2022, Harry was a Senior Architect at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel Switzerland; he held lead roles on cultural and residential projects, including The Badaevskiy Brewery Redevelopment, The Grand Canal Museum and The National Library of Israel. Prior to that, Harry had worked with internationally acclaimed offices including BIG in Copenhagen, MAD in Beijing, and NL Architects in Amsterdam.
In 2022, Harry founded WAO (Wei Architecture and Objects Ltd.) a Toronto based architecture and product design office. In addition to practice, Harry is currently a lecturer at the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo School of Architecture. He has been an invited critic at various institutions including McGill, Carleton, Princeton and Tsinghua.
