Biography summary

Terri Meyer Boake, BES, BArch, MArch, LEED AP is a professor teaching in the School of Architecture and Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Waterloo. She has been teaching in building construction, structures, environmental design and film since 1986 when she joined the School of Architecture. Her research passion is Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel and has now published four extensive books on the subject with Birkhauser. She works with several agencies developing teaching resources for Architectural education as well as continuing education for the AEC sector. She sits on several boards including the BTES, CISC Education and Research Committee, CTBUH, and OAA Committee for the Sustainable Built Environment.
