Financing your education
Paying your fees
University of Waterloo tuition fees are paid to the university on a per-term basis. These fees cover the cost of your university courses, as well as other incidental fees, including health and dental plans, the UPass fee for Grand River Transit, etc.
WWFC fees are used to cover the costs of classes, flight labs, briefings, and flights. WWFC fees can be paid by online bank payment, Interact/debit, cheque, etc. Fees are paid in installments throughout the year. WWFC will provide a payment schedule and breakdown of anticipated flight costs during their intake interview. It’s important to note that the flight training portion of your education cannot be covered by OSAP or any other provincial/ territorial financial aid.
Quebec residents may wish to contact Quebec Student Aid for details on funding limitations.
Students can use a combination of payment methods to cover flight training fees, such as a Registered Education Savings Plans (RESP), bank loan or line of credit, personal payment, third-party funding, or scholarships. Learn more about WWFC’s local financial partnerships.
