Enrolment

Course registration occurs in two phases: the course selection period and the add/drop period. Full details on course registration are available from the Registrar’s Office.

Course selection period

Before you are enrolled in courses, you will create a wish list of courses you want to take during the next academic term. A computer system will attempt to create a conflict-free class schedule for you based on factors including class capacity, pre-requisites, reserved seating, and override permissions. Although it is not a first-come, first-served process, there is no guarantee you will be enrolled in your desired courses. If you were not enrolled in a desired course, you may select another course during the add/drop period.

Add/drop period

If you did not participate in the course selection period or you would like to change the schedule you received, you will add or drop courses during this period. This is a first-come, first-served process, so pay attention to the important dates and your enrolment appointment. You can add or drop a course starting on the same day, but there are different end times.
