iBASE Registration

Congratulations on your Offer of Admission to the Intensive Bridge to Academic Success in English (iBASE) program!

In order for UWaterloo and Renison English Language Institute (ELI) to prepare for your time on campus, you must register for the iBASE program in addition to accepting your Offer of Acceptance in OUAC.

Did you receive an offer of acceptance from the University of Waterloo to study in the iBASE program?
If you have not received an offer of acceptance that specifies the iBASE program, we do not encourage you to complete this form at this time. Please speak with the BASE Coordinator at the Registrar's Office (base@uwaterloo.ca) if you are interested in registering for iBASE but have not received an offer.
Staying in Renison Residence
The iBASE program is an intensive English language program, which means you will be very busy! We strongly recommend that students consider living in Renison Residence during the iBASE program to allow you to focus on your studies in a comfortable space, to conveniently be able to attend evening workshops and events, and to have access to your classmates for group projects during the program.
Please indicate if you would like to live in Renison Residence during iBASE.
Emergency Contact Information
Please provide information for someone we can contact on your behalf in case of an emergency. This person can be in Canada or in your home country.

Activity Waiver

During the iBASE program, we will provide some on-campus and off-campus activities. Do you agree to the terms and conditions of Renison University College's ELI Activity Waiver (Viewable at https://uwaterloo.ca/base/activity-waiver)? Note: students who do not agree will not be able to participate in in-person activities.
Photography Release

Do you agree to allow Renison University College to use your image and likeness in electronic event listings, social media posts, and promotional materials, as per the Renison ELI Model Release form (viewable at https://uwaterloo.ca/base/photo-release)? Note: students who do not agree are advised that it is their own responsibility to notify photographers that they do not wish to have their picture taken.

Terms and Conditions
By clicking the submit box, I am registering for the Intensive Bridge to Academic Success in English (iBASE) program. I understand my program payment includes a $200 CAD non-refundable deposit. If I am unable to attend iBASE, I am eligible for a refund, less this $200 fee and any applicable banking fees, up until the first day of classes. I must submit my cancellation request in an email to eli@uwaterloo.ca. I understand my residence fee payment (if applicable) includes a $500 CAD non-refundable administrative fee. If I am unable to obtain a study visa, this administrative fee will be refunded, following the submission of supporting documentation.
iBASE Tuition Fees

By selecting this box, I recognize that I must submit my tuition fees and residence fees to Renison University College and NOT the University of Waterloo. I recognize that tuition fees and residence fees for the iBASE program are due by June 7, 2024.
