The Intensive Bridge to Academic Success in English program (iBASE) is an accelerated 7-week English language program for students admitted to Accounting and Financial Management or the Faculties of Arts, Engineering, Environment, Health, Mathematics, or Science.
If you meet Waterloo's academic admission requirements but your English language scores are just below our minimum admission requirements, you may be offered a place in iBASE.
Once you successfully complete this program, you begin studies in the program listed on your offer of admission in the fall with the rest of the first-year students.
How is iBASE different from the regular BASE program?
