About Campus Wellness

Campus Wellness is here to help all students at the University of Waterloo. Our professionals provide primary medical care and mental health services using an inclusive, connected, and collaborative approach.

Our intake process

Counselling Support  

Steps to book a counselling appointment: 

  • Call 519-888-4096 or visit Counselling Services (Needles Hall North, 2nd floor) in-person to book an appointment 
  • Complete the registration form sent to your @uwaterloo email address, and it send it back (via the instruction provided in the email) 
  • Attend an intake appointment once your registration form is submitted – this helps us book you in for the appointment that best meets your needs  
  • Attend the counselling appointment that is best determined for you 
    • Individual counselling, urgent counselling

Note: If you attend a counselling appointment and do not feel there is a good match, you may request a new counsellor by calling 519-888-4096, then press #2 and ask to switch counsellors to better suit your needs. 

Health Services Support  

Steps to book a physical or medical appointment: 

  • Call 519-888-4096 or visit Health Services in-person to book an appointment 
  • Existing clients, confirm up-to-date information with registration staff 
  • New clients, Client Service Rep (CSR) will send forms to your @uwaterloo email address. Complete these at the kiosk if you are on site or email them back (via the instruction provided in the email), you will receive a confirmation email that says you can now book 
  • Identify to the CRS the type of appointment you are looking for – this is so we can book you in for the correct length of time with the correct provider that best meets your needs 
    • New Mental Health, follow up, same day (for more urgent needs,) routine vaccines and other primary care are some examples 
  • Attend the Health Services appointment 
  • Feeling adventurous on check-in? Try our self-service check in kiosk! Or one of our CSRs will check you in and point you in the right direction.
