The capstone workshop is the final milestone in the EDGE certificate program. You must be an EDGE student who has completed all of their other milestones or is on track to do so this term. The capstone workshop will help you synthesize the skills developed during your undergraduate career, market yourself to employers and develop a post-graduation plan of action.

Are you applying for faculty positions? Through this interactive workshop, you'll become better prepared for a campus interview. In addition to learning about a typical campus interview schedule, you'll learn to analyze interview questions and evaluate and develop effective responses to these questions.

In this interactive workshop, you will discuss the value of making connections as part of a job search strategy.  You will explore networking strategies and identify your own action plan.

Whether you are considering a career in industry or academia, having a broad skill set and being able to recognize the value of your skills is important for success.  Attend this workshop to explore the skills you already have and to create an action plan for skill development during your graduate studies.

Note, this workshop has significant overlap with the Foundations workshop for the Professional Skills Foundations (PSF) program and is recommended for students who are not participating in the PSF program.
