Applying to teacher’s college this December? Not sure where to start or what to expect? Maybe you have questions about programs, admission requirements, grades, or how to make your experiences stand out.

This workshop is for you.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to:

- Explore the different teacher’s college programs available in Ontario
- Identify and interpret admission requirements, particularly grade requirements
- Articulate your relevant experiences and connect them to your application
- Develop a clear plan of action to prepare for your application

Are you thinking of becoming a teacher? Or currently applying to B.Ed programs? In this workshop, we will explore teaching divisions, teachables and eligibility, the application process, and more. 

Vanya (she/her), a Career Advisor from the Centre for Career Development (CCD), will be at the Arts Undergraduate Office (PAS 2439) on the following dates.

• September 30: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:00–2:00 p.m.

Join The Centre for Career Development, PsychSoc, and The Department of Psychology for an engaging panel discussion featuring professionals from across the field - therapists, counselors, and more - who will share their career journeys, insights, and advice.
After the panel, stick around for a relaxed social hour where you can ask questions, network, and explore the many pathways into this rewarding and impactful profession.

This 1-hour workshop is to support folks navigating the job search in a challenging economy. We'll begin by "taking the pulse" of how learners are feeling and acknowledging the broader economic factors that may be impacting their search. From there, we'll focus on what learners can control-exploring practical, proven job search strategies to expand networking efforts, target their job search, and make meaningful connections. Through guided reflection and actionable tips, learners will leave feeling more empowered, confident, and prepared to take the next steps in their job search with clarity and purpose.
