Canada Post and its workers will remain at the bargaining table, putting off a plan by employees to begin rolling overtime bans today. The job action was the latest move in the months-long dispute as the Crown corporation and its union argue over pay scales for rural letter carriers and proposed pension changes. The mediator in the dispute requested a 24-hour extension to the talks, which both sides agreed to.
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River.
