Re: Processing Time for Dangerous Goods and Dry Ice Shipments
To whom it may concern:
Governments, International Air/Ground Traffic Associations and respective Courier companies for years have been working together to establish and maintain effective rules and regulations involving the movement of dangerous goods both in the air and on the ground. In doing so, the documentation required to properly inject these items into the shipping environment has become more detailed and labour intensive.
Central Stores/University of Waterloo Shipping has always been involved in this process and our Shipping area is well equipped to meet these processing requirements. However the increased number of Dangerous Goods and Dry ice shipments, being presented on a weekly basis and the documentation requirements, has made it necessary for the following procedures, to be followed.
Our Central Stores Shipping staff are available at ext. 46621, if you require further information.
Regards,
University of Waterloo Shipper
