The German Studies Forum aims to
- initiate new and boost existing collaborative research among colleagues and graduate students of universities in southwestern Ontario, and
- foster new and extended venues for the exchange of ideas and the dissemination of research.
This year, we're doing things a bit differently than in past GSFs. The morning session will include short (<10 min.) presentations on research progress followed by discussions (up to 20 minutes). After lunch, we'll focus on graduate research and the graduate student experience in German Studies (broadly conceived, as per the Centre's mandate).
We are once again offering a travel subsidy to Centre members who are traveling from outside the Region of Waterloo but inside southwestern Ontario. The subsidy will be granted according to University of Waterloo's travel policy. (This means that students, staff, and faculty of the University of Waterloo who live outside the Region will likely not qualify.)
To attend, please register using our online form. Registration deadline is December 2.
